New top and paint and its' name changes, like a caterpillar into a butterfly, to Old Glory.
In dark blue script on the fenders perhaps? With fading scrollwork down the sides?

I finally got the front end of my 03 Grand Marquis completely sorted out!
It was the tires. The awful 19 month old 18k mile craptacular Goodyear Viva 2s were both out of round.
It's punishment for buying something at Walmart. And because they are Walmart spec'd tires I had to use Walmart to get the $55 per tire proration, and if I applied them to a 'good' Goodyear tire they were still more expensive than Tire Rack!
Bah. I bought a set of Michelin Primacy MXV4s from TR, stock 225/60/16ers. The H speed rating was on sale, a good deal at $277 del'd. My back tires, Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW2s (awesome tires!) are still fine.
Now to change the oil, diff oil, trans fluid and filter, rear tranny seal, and the u joints with greaseable Spicer goodness and I'm ready to head to Aiken SC, just across the border from Augusta next month. Nice drive through the mountians.
Interesting, the Spicer u joint casting is made in China but the needle bearings and caps, US. Are there foundries in the US anymore?

Let us know how you like the Michelins. I'm betting you will.

You will like them even more when it rains. They maintain traction extremely well on wet pavement.

Got a chance on the wet and wow! Nice Gotta watch playing with a RWD that way though, tailhappy, and a lot of big drainage ditches where I live
I have to give a partial retraction of my comments on the cheap Goodyears. It turms out I do have a slightly bent rim, and over time that can cause both tires to go out of round.

Oversteer (being "loose" for all you new NASCAR Dems) is a lot easier to deal with than understeer (tight). When the wheels you have to steer with lose traction it can be pretty interesting.

What is this thing "rain"?
Out here when it finally does rain all of the built up oil on the streets makes the roads slicker than snot for the first few days. SoCal black ice is what I call it. Accidents all over the place.

I've heard tell, it never rains in southern California, but when it does, it pours, man it pours
We're taught to be careful at first, or if it's a very light rain.

John in the dry I'd push it a little harder, I could give'er a little gas and a little steer get that back end straightened out maybe 4 wheel drift In the wet it's a spin machine! I don't DARE push it with grand canyons next to the road
