Thanks for that link Don. I think I'll ramp down my unseemly gloating in the interest of civility. I like to think that Democrats are classier that way... Apologies to all the losers on the board.

"Fly Yellow" as I recall. The "head" in question is the cylinder head, really the cam cover. It was painted red on the original '57 250 TR. Quite a car!

Ferrari's aren't that great either. They do make for an excellent piece of art for the garage.

I don't know, I've driven quite a few. I liked some a lot more than others but I thought they were all very good. The only "exotic" that ever disappointed me was a 300SL Gullwing. Drove like a damn truck.

John

Anyway, Rmoney's toast!

I love Ferraris and they drive quite well as long as you have an open road. If you have traffic, then not so much. That stiff clutch and the gated shifter drives me nuts in heavy traffic. They also need lots of maintenance to keep them running when compared to Porsches. Personally, I've had a desire for an Alfa-Romeo roadster for years. There is a certain something about Italian sportscars that has an appeal despite the mechanics.

What's with all of this car talk. Let's get back to insults.
