As it sits, who knows? It could still go either way. But, to a self assured and deeply conceited pig head like Romney, who can't fathom why the whole world doesn't just adore him and his party it just doesn't make sense that he isn't already 30 points ahead.......It MUST be that everyone is too stupid to see that he really is our saviour. Must be that we're all just a bunch of stupid begging dogs, sniffing for a handout.

The most damning thing is the way he just dismisses the 47% who he thinks will not vote for him no matter what...like he is not going to be their President after he wins.....

Mezz do you really believe that Democrats are the ones who leech off of the system??
I do not consider SS or Medicare which I have payed into for years as an entitlement. I payed for it and it is an earned benefit. If it is good enough for McCain it is good enough for me. Romney /Ryan want to take it away from me. That puts them in my asshole category.
Back to Romney. He is an out of touch, selfish bastard, who could give a fuck about 98% of the people in this country. I am betting you are included in this category.
You are totally brainwashed. A rational and viable candidate, are you kidding. He is a bumbler at even the simplest Presidential tasks. He totally failed in the most recent crisis, despite the fact that the Obama administration kept his staff full apprised of the situation in the Mideast.
Back to the government leeches. Most all of them vote R and live in red states. They love them some food stamps because working at Wal-mart, almost full time, just does not pay the bills.
The fact is mezz, most people that get "welfare" don't vote at all. So why does Romney say that 47% of the people that vote for Obama are sucking off the government tit.
I voted for him in 08. I don't suck off the government tit. As a matter of fact, I sent a check in to the IRS today for $2000 because of a miscalculation in April. Got it? I pay my taxes! Mittens shelters his and gets special tax rates. I would not give you a plug nickel for that son of a bitch.

COSTA MESA, Calif. — Mitt Romney held a hastily arranged press conference here to engage in damage control hours after a video surfaced that showed him at a private May fundraiser describing 47 percent of the country as “dependent upon the government.”
The GOP nominee for president defended his remarks — first printed in the liberal magazine Mother Jones — while conceding they were not “elegantly stated.”
“I am sure I can state it more clearly and effectively than I did in a setting like that,” he told reporters assembled quickly at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts before attending a fundraiser.
Romney said the video didn’t fully capture his views or his entire comments about personal responsibility and the role of government in society.
“I am talking about a political process of drawing people in my campaign. … My campaign is about helping people take more responsibility,” Romney said.
“This is ultimately a question about the direction of the country. Do you believe in a government-centered society that provides more and more benefits? Or do you believe instead in a free-enterprise society where people are able to pursue their dreams?”
Romney was responding to the furor surrounding the release of a surreptitiously taped video of him speaking at a closed-door, $50,000-a-person fundraiser describing 47 percent of voters as non-taxpayers so dependent on government services that they’re bound to vote for President Barack Obama in November.
“There are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it,” Romney appears to be saying in the video.

They're turning on Romney's campaign manager now. It's that Ayn Randian and The Donald management style Romney so admires. His manager/advisor/speech writer will be highway pizza once he's tossed under the bus. If that's how they treat their own, I would hate to work for those SOBs. Vicious, uncompromising and unforgiving isn't how I would like to see our government work.
I agree that now isn't the time to coast for the Democrats. There is a chance that these plutocratic pieces of s**t could steal/buy this election. It certainly wouldn't be the first time. The biggest threat to the President's re-election is complacency. I swear Romney is doing his best to make Obama's coattails long but they have an obscene amount of cash and very little scruples in how they spend it this election. I just hope we can weather this onslaught and take back some house seats. The Democratic caucus has targeted 70 seats, I just hope we get half of that...

The difference is snakes like Romney have figured out how to make fortunes off of putz's like you. It's really very easy. With a little he-man hullabaloo and pseudo-patriotic flag-waiving, they can talk you into giving up whatever they want from you. They have perfected methods of making you feel ashamed of yourself for expecting anything of them.
Go off to fight the wars they start? F**k that, that's for "Little People" like Mezz. Pay taxes? "Whoooooaaaaaa, just you hold on there, Mister! How dare you punish my success? No, no. Paying taxes is for the little people too. You will give ME AND ALL OF MY FELLOW PLUTOCRATS a tax CUT and if it puts a dent in the budget, that's okay, I'll just slick talk that Putz Mezz and his ilk into giving up their Medicare. After all "real Americans and true patriots" don't accept "handouts" anyways....................."
See how that works?
That's you.

As I aid after the conventions:
One of these guys is a Harvard educated Constitutional law professor and the other is Mitt Romney.
Obama eviscerates this guy in a debate or two and wins in a cake walk of 7-10%.

Doesn't Romney also hold a JD from Harvard in addition to his MBA? Also, keep in mind these are precanned debates that will likely lack any intellectual depth.

Romney campaign says they're going to release more specifics but we will not be getting any upskirt shots or nudies of Romney's taxes. We would just use it against them. Really!?!?!
No new taxes and no old tax forms!
Just trust me and I won't com....never mind.
Romney's new campaign slogan.
