I want to thank you for reminding me about Curtis. Since then I have been on a Curtis binge and rediscovered the SWEETNESS of his music/his type of music so much so that I will be going to J&R today to try to complete my collection. And I will be looking out for Curtis whenever he comes to NY city.

Look what I just bought tickets for on October 14.

"The Kennedy Center in collaboration with the Grammy Museum and Woody Guthrie Publications presents This Land Is Your Land ~ A Woody Guthrie Centennial Celebration Concert, which celebrates the life and work of the folk singer with performances by Jackson Browne, Rosanne Cash, Judy Collins, Ry Cooder, Del McCoury Band with Tim O'Brien, Ani DiFranco, Donovan, Dropkick Murphys, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Arlo Guthrie, Jimmy LaFave, John Mellencamp, Tom Morello, Old Crow Medicine Show, Joel Rafael, and Rob Wasserman."

I'll bet that's going to be a great show. An excellent venue. I saw Deep Purple there in the seventies. Have fun at the show Pat!

No kidding? I also was there to see them on their Machine Head tour in ~1972.
