What I saw this last weekend with Romney and Ryan made me feel good about America, and our chances to recover.

It's ironic how you point to the first post in this thread and then complain about how the "libs" are doing all of the insulting while the good upstanding folks on the right are just trying to be reasonable. The OP author closed his post with the statement that anyone who would support Obama is stupid, knowing full well that there are a number of Obama supporters to participate here. Now, you tell me how that is designed to create a constructive dialogue. Take off your blinders.

Take off yours. At least I'm willing to state the truth. Some people may find the truth insulting.... geeze I'd be embarrassed too if I were stuck supporting an idiot like Obama because I lacked the ability to think for myself or discern character flaws as obvious as his. I'll bet a lot of those same Obama supporting participants will swear black and blue that Joe Biden is mensa material. The ones who wouldn't be lying are probably the ones I was mostly referring to... although of course lying isn't a particular indicator of intelligence either.

My quote about mezz has nothing to do with that but I'll answer.

Jay, many things have happened over the past three years. I thought Romney would be a good choice a few years back. Then I thought it would be interesting for him to get the nomination just to see how all the "good ol'boy's" would deal with having to choose between a "cultist non-Christian" and a black man.

For my family and it's future I do not see how Romney and for sure how Ryan will be a positive. Maybe you can help point me in the direction? I'm not sure how making sure the ultra rich are taken care of will help me or my family.

Now, you of all folks should know this is no snap decision for me. It's been a long process of research and deduction. I'm not rich, my folks are not rich and I'll most likely never be rich (I don't play the lotteries or gamble) so how will continuing to vote for folks that only care about the rich and the rich getting richer going to benefit my family and myself?
