I am not going to give your blogger buddy the time of day is all. That and you should note things you quote so when I c+p into a search engine I do not get hits. That gives you credibility.

And, I didn't know that telling the truth about American business practices is "demonizing" them.

I'd say the growing number of foreign owners taking over American businesses and industries is testament to the sad failure of the American business model all on its own.

Not the point. I was asking you what your specific objections were, not what some blogger has to say. And much of what he blogged and you pasted/posted is reactionary spin. For example,
*where was the screaming hissy fit over the national debt when Dubya was doubling it?
*The commentary on the stimulus ignores the effect it had on halting a rapidly deteriorating situation and yes, there were jobs created and saved.
*The PPACA was never viewed as the end result but the beginning and anyone who claims to be able to project the results and consequences is merely bloviating. I have yet to hear an articulated Republican alternative.
*The commentary on energy policy is typical 'drill-baby-drill' claptrap.

Just a few points. And don't hand me that what you posted is over my head. Give me some of your original thoughts on Obama's policies and let's have a discussion.

And, again, what specifically are the Obama policies that have been the perfect storm to our economy?
The supply chain would have been in disarray, but I suspect not mcuh worse off that with a the pre-pack bankruptcy. It is in GM, Ford and Chrysler's best interest to nurture their supply chain. They've moved much inventory management and assembly functions to their suppliers. Vehicle manufacturing is far more "modular" today, with the auto factories doing more assembly of modular components than ever before. The modules are manufactured by suppliers and shipped to the auto manufacturers, who then assemble the modules into the finished vehicle. Romney talked about this in his article (that has since been misquoted and taken out of context) with the suggestion for debtor in possession financing. DIP financing would have given suppliers a level of protection in the bankruptcy process, since their debt would have been given priority in either a reorganization or liquidation.

In the meantime, the auto bailout as executed by the Obama team will cost the US taxpayers more than $25 Billion, up 15% from prior estimates. This isn't the first time this projected amount has been revised, and I'll bet it won't be the last.

Once a troll always a troll Mezz. Try attributing your comments when they aren't your own. You've been caught out, admit it or not, no one really cares or haven't you noticed?

Hey bob. You don't really think I expected you to seriously consider any criticizms of Obama's policies.

... and your troll accusations do remain pretty amusing.

Things might be heating up now with less that 100 days until the election. A friendly word of advice, considering your rather fragile psyche, might be to start planning an extended emergency fishing trip .

That said I would have hated for GM to go under. Sometimes you have to look at the pschological aspect of politics. If it had went under it would have been a big blow to everyone in America..think about it. I think any president would have saved it, even if Romney had been in the chair. No President is going to let the Big Three go under on their watch.

Imagine what the Tea Party would be saying right now if GM was gone....they would raking Obama over the coals for it. I mean, would you have supported Obama's decision if he had let it go under?

Oh, I'm here for the duration, sweetcheeks. Let me know when you have an original thought. Do some more homework while you're at it.
