John Coltrane: LIVE IN STOCKHOLM, 1961 (Featuring Eric Dolphy)

Some astounding performances here.

tunes:
My Favorite Things
Blue Train
Naima
Impressions

Dolphy is particularly haunting on NAIMA.

Every now and then I come back to this album for my Coltrane fix.
Excellent album!

Label: Charly

I would say track six is my favourite Don. I've spun the disc four times and it grows on this oldish rock and roller. I'll bet there are already having groupie problems, if that can be classified as a problem. Your boy has some good style goin' on the bass. They strike me as serious about their music. Tell 'em to keep their eye on that ball whilst having some fun, (from this old fart.)

The True False Identity - T-Bone Burnett

I just got this one. It's a bit of a departure from his Americana-styled music, but I like it. Dark and rhythmic.

Maybe that's what I like about it.

Jeff Beck---Blow by Blow

On the bedroom system. That old B&O 4002 is a great 'table. Playing through the Luxman 309 and the ADS L710s........Amazing that this rig is nearly 40 years old.

I may have the record for old crap used daily, Magnavox amp 150 biamped monoblocks from 1957. Of course new caps and resistors but circuit is unchanged from 55 years ago.
