You must realize by now that you will never get a seat at that table? I've had the benefit of a liberal upbringing so maybe that is why their lies fall flat with me.
Call it class warfare if you feel like it but it is my contention that class warfare has been secretly raging against the middle class for generations already. The lower class has become us. Doesn't it piss you off that your children and grandchildren will be little better than indentured servants and ultimately serfs in this grand experiment called America? Is that really what all of those brave Americans gave life and limb for in Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Korea, Germany, Japan, Charleston, Washington D.C. in 1812, Boston 1776? Do we turn our backs on all of those patriots to be bootlicking peasants once again without a fight?
The Chuck Heston solution isn't what I signed up for way, way back in my mis spent youth. I certainly didn't expect to be a beggar in my own house only to be tossed into the street when I ceased being useful to the elite robber barons.
The only tool left is our vote to redress what's been going on for a long time Pete and it's obvious to me that the moneyed elite are doing their damndest to take even that away. Their goal is to turn this whole country into one big company town.

'I think so Brain, but if it was a three hour tour, why did the Howells bring all their money?'
THe entire net worth of the country is 93 tril.

I remember my youngest brother bragging that he got a job with an "Employee owned" company.
He told Pop, "As an employee, I OWN the company."
Pop replied, "Great. So I take it you'll be sitting in on board meetings and whizzing about the country on the corporate jet, hobknobbing with Texas oil barons and such?"
"Well,....no....but......"
"Then you're a fool for buying that line of hooey. You still don't own anything but the clothes on your back."

I am packing a house and absolutely LIT on Pabst Blue Ribbon.
1. It's not brewed in Milwaukee anymore.
2. It's the same recipe I adored in college.
You guys are rockin' on the metaphors, today.
