Marianne Faithful Stange Weather 1987
Of Montreal Cheery Peel 1997
Marianne Faithfull Horses and High Heels 2011
The English Beat Special Beat Service 1999
Alan Parsons Try Anything Once 1993

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of Marianne Faithful. She was quite styling in the 60s, but I prefer her later voice. She is just so unique. BTW, I'm also a Francois Hardy fan.

Alan Hovhaness-----Celestial Gate

Scored myself an NOS, still in the box Mullard 12AU7, online for $15 today. Never used, tests as new. Dude picked up a box of miscellaneous tubes at an estate auction. Can't wait for that jewel to arrive. It'll be a few days, though, it's coming from Minnesota. I was actually searching for a Telefunken smooth plate, but, he had no Teles and only the one Mullard. The rest were all domestics and I already have plenty of those.

Tube Depot wants $250 each for the same thing....................

I fell in love with Francoise Hardy when I saw Grand Prix. "I don't smoke........ I don't drink." I never really warmed up to her singing though.

Sweet! Those deals can be had. Was it a "buy it now" transaction?

That's what scares me about getting a tube amp—the price of the tubes. Ouch at $250.00. I was looking at an older CJ.

Alan Parsons Project I Robot 2007
David Bowie Aladdin Sane 1973
David Bowie Diamond Dogs 1974
Alan Parsons Vulture Culture 1985
Bele Flack Greatest 20th Century 1999

I actually had fun searching eBay for tubes. There are bargains to be had in the
"buy it now" listings. Auctions will make you crazy sometimes. You'll be blown away by tubes especially a nice CJ amp. I wouldn't worry about availability as there are tons of NOS tubes out there for a fraction of the new super expensive genelex gold lions and such. Tubes don't have a shelf life.
