Just got home from seeing the Beach Boys at the Virginia Beach Ampitheater.*
Not bad for a bunch of old farts. Had a really good time.

(*They call it "NTelos Pavillion", now. But, I refuse to give in to the corporate stupidity. Companies come and go like farts in a windstorm, the city of Va.Bch will be around for a long time.)

What kills me is the prices.......$4.75 for a bottle of Aquafina. ONE SLICE of cheese pizza---$6.00...........

That's after you paid $30 just to get in. Yeah, privatizing it has really brought prices down.....

It was around 90, and humid as hell-as usual, when we arrived. An hour or so after sundown it got real nice. It's beautiful out there right now. Getting ready to head out to Taco Bell for some fart grenades......want anything?

Couple of green burritos with extra onions and cheese. Forget about asking for cilantro, they'll just give you a blank look and try to sell you some week old churros.

Our local venue here opened as the Luther Burbank Center, named for a man who devoted his life to enhancing the beauty of our world as well as our ability to feed ourselves. Now it's the Wells Fargo Center. we all know what they're famous for.
