The healthcare policy will perturb the current system and the resulting effects are not easily predictable despite the utopian meanderings of the pro-PPACA folks.

what is wrong with more people working?

SB-1070 might work out great when the current Prez is gone.
"Your papers sir" is still the guts of the bill.
We get control over that rogue agency we call ICE, and all is good...very good.

If Romney keeps raising money like he has in the last 24 HRS., he can just buy off the Dems for the White House.

I predict that someday the GOP will wish they never coined the term Obamacare. Once this plan is popular the people will be reminded who was behind it and the guff dished out and by whom.
Remember all that's go to go is two little words and everyone will have healthcare. They are over sixtyfive!

Well the real "plan" by the democratic chronies is to totally dismantle the
health care system just like they did the banking industry. The same
people that they tried to help buy a home with no money down and
no credit are about to destroy the health care industry in this country.
The democrats are gonna stand back and let it happen and then swoop
in and take it over for a song. They are on a mission to control everything
in this country and have to be stopped before it's too late. What's next
after health care? Energy? Your pension? you better believe they are coming
after that soon. States are almost bankrupt now because of mandates.
They are on the list to be taken over. Our freedom and well being is under
attack and some of you are so blind in your left eye you can't see it coming.

The banking system got into trouble through their own greed, enabled by Republican deregulation. The insurance industry is another example of extreme corporate greed. They deserve to be "dismantled" and the sooner the better, before they do any more damage.
Jack, you do a lot of shrieking about the things that "liberals" or "soci@lists" or Democrats have done,or are about to do, to the country. The thing is, about half of it is pure paranoia and the rest is stuff the Republicans have already done or will do, given the chance.

A look at US history should be enough to convince a blind man. That when rampant removal of regulations occur, the ones at the top get richer and everybody else loose. Most of the best of times for the average American have been when unions and regulations were stronger along with a much higher tax rate for the upper wage earners.

One of the interesting things that a high top marginal tax rate does is keep money in companies and corporations. If the tax rate is high CEO salaries stay low because extreme high salaries simply get eaten up by taxes.
No point in having them under those circumstances so, instead of going to salaries and other forms of compensation for the top dogs, company profits get plowed back into the company for expansion (meaning more hiring), modernization and higher wages and better benefits for the workers.
This isn't theoretical. It's precisely why we became the economic engine of the world in the '50s and '60s and why our standard of living was the best of any nation's on earth, before, during or since.
