255 to 67. Looks like a slam dunk to me.
Holder is just another angry black man.

What kind of example are they setting?
They are following the example set by the GOP when they walked out on the contempt vote during Dubya's administration over the US Attorney firings. Both parties play by the same silly rules. There's very little original thought in national politics.

Who is mad because he is being accused of a crime for not committing a crime.

The most powerful law enforcement figure in the country lied to the people
he was serving and most of the democratic party walked out in protest
of justice.

If his admin had a shred of the backbone his supporters credit to him they would have stuck to the truth.

By capulating Obama threw Holder under the bus.

You GOPers just can't stand that Holder is going after your voter discrimination laws can you? Requiring a photo ID of someone who does not drive, and charging $15 for it is a poll tax and that is un-constitutional.

He doesn't work for Congress. Separation of powers, you know.

He probably doesn't need to be concerned, however. The GOP went down in flames on the last 2 things they chose to grandstand on (SB1070 and PPACA). Odds are this will be the third. Even if it isn't, the case will be handed over to the Justice Dept for prosecution.

That said, he should have been completely truthful and forthright with them. Their heads would have exploded.
