Whell, I just spent the better part of my day trying to decide how to shave 57 meal participants off the meals on wheels program in our county. These are our elderly, an extremely vulnerable population, who have no other resources to help themselves.
Next week, I get to tell those fifty seven people the bad news.
If you are looking for somewhere to cut gov spending while maintaining morals...start with corporate welfare.

True about the tax cuts, but the data is looking only at revenue. Since the issue we were discussing was tax burden (revenue), no data about spending was relevant. There is other data out there that's more current, but more difficult to post. I'll leave it to you to let your fingers do the searching.
Now, wouldn't it be fun to find out what our spending is per capita, and what the trend data looks like?
