But the USA with it's gun mania has not progressed as has ever other developed country in the world. All I am saying is that we should not continue to murder each other enabled by legalized guns. We need to catch up to the rest of the civilized world.

I don't know what your experience has been but most times I have seen guns has been after a long night of drinking or used to impose one's opinion when they are losing a discussion or to make themselves feel powerful like "your dog is barking to much" bang bang.

I have seen guns "pulled" over half a dozen times and never for a good reason. NEVER for self or family protection.

BTW, do you know how many Americans though Sarah Palin would be fine as President? and these are the same people who think guns are not a problem. I think this proves my point.

Jack, I would never want to take your gun away but when you see the jerk in TX kill a guy for having a party, Zimmerman kill a kid because he wanted to be a cop and all the other countless dodos who change lives needlessly it simple common sense that something drastic needs to be done.

Well whatever it is it would need to be grandfathered in. You can't go take a gun away from a guy who has been a responsible owner since his youth.

We can start with getting ride of the obvious, get ride of guns and bullets that scar the police.
