Mortemia - Misere Mortem
Post Sirenia Morten Velund effort, first listen. Sounds very much like both his old bands. A very good thing. A 16 year old live clip of a favorite.

A pair of Boston Acoustics A40 that I finished refoaming today. Those little boogers produce a lot of sound from a small package. Currently putting out Bob Marley - Rastaman Vibration.

Regards,

D-Ray

I was listening to whatever that was on the FM dial, through my Roberts (Akai) tube monoblocks. When the right channel started making that blasted noise again. The left channel sounds beautiful and so does the right------sometimes. I've replaced so many parts, I nearly have a new amp.......AND STILL! I guess I'll replace resistors next...........

It's kind of a scratchy, crackley noise, that's independant of the volume setting.
Hope it isn't an output transformer.......I have some in the parts units I could swap in, but, that 's a pain. And they're just as old.

Dave

May be a cold solder joint? Those can be almost invisible to the naked eye. Flux and reflowing the solder joints sometimes cures it. Old resistors will do it also. I kinda doubt that it's an output trannny. Good luck with it Dave.
