I change my avatar more frequently than I change my skivvies.

This one is Walter Reuther.
Sounds like we have a little common ground. The religious right drives me nuts, (I live less than 2 miles from Regent University and Pat Robertson.), and single issue/party line voters I tend to view as the most "sheeple-ish" among us. I've never run a small business, but I have friends/family that do, or have at some point.
The thing I've noticed is the ones that do, seem to do quite well. My cousin owns a couple apartment buildings and runs a disaster recovery business in the worst part (economically) of Ohio and seems to do very well. The guy is always taking nice vacations, has a beautiful home and family and a stable full of classic collectable cars. I have a buddy, lives across the street and is a self employed commercial refrigeration maintenance type. He likes to brag that he "work when I feel like it". So, I really don't understand what all of the bitching is about. What I hear doesn't match what I see. I guess I haven't walked in those shoes, so I don't really know, but............................
