Odd mix this morning:

'Al Jolsen Story,' with himself, the Mills Bros, and the Andrews Sisters.

Ventures, 'In Space.' Got 'Out of Limits' on it, otherwise forgettable. There is a Ventures song with lyrics, believe it or not. The lyrics are
"AAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

And now a Hayden string quartet, the 'Emperor' quartet, the one with the Deutschland song in it.

Ah, both kinds of music: country AND western!

Knew the song, but didn't know the name or face of Gale Garnet.

The association to Telstar does seem pretty random....
