No. I'm laughing at your pre-programmed, talking point responses that just bounce from one side of the left-wingnut echo chamber to the other. And since you're starting to veer toward ad-homs, I'll assume that you've nothing productive or useful left to say.

Sorry, Whell, but he's demonstrably right and you're demonstrably wrong. Take a look at healthcare cost growth in the past 3 years compared to the years preceding the passage of Obamacare.

"All told, health care costs have been growing more slowly over the last three years than any other time period since 1965."

So much for unabated cost growth in healthcare.

Yup, no doubt that the last two years have seen some abatement in the rise of health spending DUE TO THE RECESSION.

"National health care spending continues to grow at historically low rates this year -- but it will rise faster over the next decade as the economy recovers, the population ages and President Barack Obama's health care reform law adds millions to the the health insurance rolls, according to a federal audit released Wednesday."

Wow. A US gov't study suggesting that Obamacare putting more folks on insurance coverage will fuel increases in health care costs. What a shocker, huh?

The graphs I put up show costs per enrollee. Your cited article says that more will be spent on health care as more people enroll. Well no shit, Sherlock.

Yes, sir. Its called the law of supply and demand. As the demand for something rises, unless the supply for that good or service rises as well, then the cost of that item increases. So unless Obama starts pooping out physicians, the cost of care will rise. Couple that with an anticipated shortage of physicians, and things may get pretty interesting.

And exactly WTF is wrong with minting more doctors to serve more needy patients? It's not as though there are a limited number of people who have the intelligence to become doctors. Hell, we're overproducing lawyers. If prospective law students see no job future, maybe they'll major in medicine. By your logic, we should training the exact same number of buggy-whip makers as we did in 1880 (i.e., the number of professionals in a field should remain stagnant and not adjust itself due to market forces).

Nothing's wrong with it at all. But they're not going to fall out of the sky, are they? That's the AMA's point, and a point you'd seem to prefer to ignore. Of course, the AMA loves Obamacare, but you did notice who they blame for the physician shortage, right?

And here we have it. The objection to the ACA and single payer. More Americans with health care coverage will make it more expensive for Whell.

That's it, eh Whell? If it's gonna cost you more money, fuck 'em...let 'em die.
