You could always pay cash or you could support a cheaper system, (single payer) if you really cared about being a leaner and meaner capitalist.

If you think you are right, why not just pay for it yourself.
Instead of being jealous of what other hard working individuals have done for themselves and their families, get off your food stamps and get a real job and pay for your own instead of EXPECTING the hard working to take care of you because you are unwilling to do it yourself.

One question.
Tell me how you "know" Bob is on food stamps, unemployed and unwilling to support himself?

It sure seems like a lot of people have forgotten that the full name of this new law is the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Patient protection is achieved by eliminating junk insurance policies. It means that you won't have to go bankrupt and sell your home if you have a major illness or a debilitating accident.

Of course you think it is crazy. You are from Califorskin and have spent all your money and now you need to spend everyone elses. Almost everyone in your state is fiscally irresponsible and think credit is a right.
Maybe Califorskin should secede and become their own country and figure out how to get out of the mess they are in on their own.
MY name is a reflection of the feeling I get from our current head liar of our country.

Ridiculous broad-brush attack on 'Californians.' What pea-pickin' state might you be from?

If you're from a deep Red state, it's you that's receiving and spending more than your share of Federal monies. BTW, these monies are largely being provided by the strong economies of the Blue states that pay far more to the Fed than they get back as a result of the good educations systems and innovative industries in these states. I take it you've heard of Silicon Valley.

No I live in a worthless blue state. Blue just means a higher concentration of whiners.
The only reason California has an income is because of Hollywood.
It looks like you have let the blue machine blow smoke up your @ss for so long that you can only see what they want you to see, but then again we know that the current administration loves to teach sideways math as fact.

The level of discussion in this forum is generally a few notches above that reflected in the above post. While Cali's financial picture is hardly robust, the same can be said of most other states, including my own (which has been steadily improving under the direction of our Repub governor, by the way ).
So, your post are always welcome. But I'd suggest you "up your game" to a level of discussion that is at once informative and challenging based on facts or substantive opinions rather than ad homs.

I appreciate that Mike. In this instance, such a comment is more credible coming from one, like yourself, who might agree with some of the poster's underlying points.
