I was a little startled by some of the venom being bandied about when I showed up way back in December '11 and felt it could maybe break some ice and re-humanize some of our discussions. We even like to share new found tunes no matter what the vintage. It's like a respite from the other stuff that all of us are so passionate about is the way I'm digging it. So, join in!

My techy type son has helped me to put songs on my iphone so I can listen via ear bud or on this gadget type thing that makes the sound loud enough to hear while at my desk at work. I don't have any particular genre, I just use this shazam app any time I hear something I like and then purchase it on my iphone. So, my "collection" is somewhat electic (or, perhaps, erractic is more appropriate)
I have oldies.....Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, etc.
Not so oldies, but, still goodies, The Band, Creedence Clearwater, Eagles, etc.
Newer stuff.... pop, country, classic........
and, my all time favorite....music from classic muscials....Guys and Dolls, Hello Dolly, Fiddler on the Roof, ect.
