The various pliers I broke/bent are warranteed, so I be able to replace them free. Yay, useless new tools I'll carry around for the rest of my life. The picks are waranteed too but they're good, I'll use them again at least.
But all told it would've been way cheaper in time and money just to bite the bullet and buy the good tool out the gate. There's a lesson in there that I will promptly forget
