Your side seems to oppose ANYONE (but themselves, of course.) retiring at all. From my point of view. If you have a pension, public, or otherwise, they fight to tear it down. If you make enough to save up for your own retirement, they fight to cut your pay. Even if your struggling to get by on minimum wage and little or no benefits they think your being "given" a "handout". How little is little enough, Pete?

It seems to me that the right-wing mindset is that anyone who attempts to stop working at any point for any reason is just a slacker. Deadweight trying to sneak into "the hammock". (Until it's their turn, of course. They always seem to think they've "earned" everything they have, even when they haven't done any more than anyone else.).....................

I think we should ALL be able to retire at 65, if we choose to do so. Before 65, if we can. I think that by the time the vast majority of us have reached 65, we have done our bit and deserve to enjoy life for a change, and that anyone who thinks otherwise is just a slave driving asshole.

But, that's just me. I'm crazy that way.

And, where did you get this notion that all Dems are rich? And, even if it was true, wouldn't that be "class envy"? I thought all Dems are "welfare collecting scumbags, looking for a handout" Wingnuts accuse them of being "useless, bums, morons, thieves, etc." then turn around and accuse them of being "well heeled intellectual elite".....Which is it??

Is it only "class envy" when Dems say that all Republicans are rich or vice versa? I don't think so. I think the whole notion of "class envy" is ridiculous. Which ever way it goes. I think everyone, rich or poor, are just doing what human beings do----Trying to get "more", or just plain "get by".

I just happen to think it's absurd when people start thinking the answer to every problem is to take from those of us at the bottom, regardless of how you vote, and give to the ones who already have way more than enough.

Watch. After the GOP succeeds in busting the public unions, YOUR taxes STILL won't go down. Bet on it. They don't give a rats ass about you, or me.

If anything ever leads to "Class Warfare" it will be this.

Dave
