As for Trump's proposal of awarding green cards to anyone that graduates with a college degree, that will be a total disaster. Expect that will invite second and third rate foreign students obtaining useless degrees, they will get a green card just for graduating with 'toilet paper degrees'. This in itself will become big a business overnight inundated with recruiters and advisors placing foreign students in American colleges (a lot of for profit colleges have been shutting down for lack of enrollment). Most of them when they graduate will qualify at best for supervisors at Walmart and McDonalds and these people will displace Americans.
But if Musk is happy, Trump is also happy.

Help foreign students stay in this country and be in the job market up against people born here right? Ahead of others waiting their turn to get in.....
If students are brighter more capable with qualities local talent lack. Then that is what should be addressed. Why is local talent not better?
I'm for immigration not an open door into this country. This policy is not a surprise coming from the party of hypocrites calling themself Republicans.
