Classic war talk. Everyone ready to fight says "they only respect force" or something like that. When you hear yourself saying that, know that your fight button has been pushed.

The enemy never respects force. You hurt them, they just hate your more and fight you more. If and when someone is finally whipped, they still don't respect anything.

the way to nip this in the bud, which we should all pray we can do, is not to get ginned up for war. It's to get the cops and the courts mobilized, and get all the insurrectionist leaders in jail. And keep working on building back better, and delivering a good life to people.
