And we also expect the individual to be able to communicate in the format available here - the written word. Parroting the day's talking points in barely intelligible sentences is not communicating. When one sees post after post after post, just minutes apart, it is apparent that no individual thought is being undertaken.

Yeah, this is not Miss Manners' favorite website. And there are plenty here who come from the left who are rude. But I have never seen so many useless posts from one poster in such a short time. And those who have been identified as left wing here include folks who voted for Reagan and Bush, so it's not a purely ideological disconnect going on here. We have an individual who is either incapable of rational expression, or a troll who feigns such incapacity. In either event, it has made me appreciate the ignore function.
