This case has nothing to do with self defense, NOTHING.
This case has to do with a loop hole in the law that allows a law savvy maniac to stalk and murder stereotypes he does not like.
With or without this law if a black male killed a white kid on his way home from buying candy NO MATTER WHAT the black man claimed he would be in jail with no chance of ever seeing the light of day again.
I am sick of folks denying this simple truth.

Exactly. Who cares if a few innocent folks have to die, just as longs as they get to keep their guns.

I have assumed up to now that Trayvon did indeed throw the first punch in a defensive move since he was being stalked. But now it seems more likely that the fat bastard decided that he wanted the kid to stop and was going to physically stop him.
Either way this clown should be in jail. He is a murderer.
OK maybe I am slow but other than being "connected" why is this guy not in jail?

Well, so much for trying to interject a little humor into this situation.
Maybe Don will "get" it.
BTW, Travon Bryant.

According to the paper today the homeowners association and management company will be on the hook for any damages if any when awarded. So now the any of the members statements will become suspect.

The facts so far seem to point to a young kid being chased in the dark by a armed grown man. The kid or anyone for that matter would be and have every right to be afraid . I do not even know for sure if I would of stopped for Zimmerman until reaching a more populated area. Zimmerman had no business following anybody that night. Once he stepped out of the vehicle he became the aggressor.
Unless one is to believe just because he had a gun an was attempting to what he thought was right no blame can be attached. Then lets just give every one a gun and forget about having a police department.

Yeah, I pulled out of it pretty quick...having the constitution of a mule helped. But from 10:00 AM Thurs to about 4:00AM Fri I thought I was going to die. Seriously.
But by 8:00 AM I was good to go...after my usual breakfast of cigarettes and coffee. I was afraid to eat anything else. Managed to shove 1,500 SF of metal to my crew, do payroll, and get a short nap before I went back to the jobsite and rolled things up.
After reading your post, I though maybe you were under the influence of "March Madness".
Chas
Not bad for an hour of sleep...I think I was still under the influence of the poppy.

I was waiting on Sears to open so that I could pick up a water heater, and like a fool I decided to kill 30 minutes by eating breakfast at Hardees, as they were the only place open at the time.
And I got food poisoning.

I am crazy particular about food after getting food poisoning a couple times.
I was down in South Carolina last time at a Ramada, I was so freakin' sick I don't know how I stayed conscious.
I believe it was a Hardee's also to be honest. I guess that's why we don't them around here!
Glad you are better.
