As opposed to how things turned out. There's not a chance in Hell that there will be any lawsuits now!
This is the trifecta. The girl will sue the school district, the sheriff's department and Fields,

A third video has surfaced it seems.

Look at time marker :26 through :30.
Did she swing at him?
Was that a pencil/pen in her hand?
Was she trying to balance herself?
Hard to tell if you were not actually there.

He's constantly shitting in other people's hats too!
Anal fixation.

I think I posted that one earlier.
I see nothing in her hand. Her thumb is extended though.
Whether she slapped at him or tried to grab his shoulder for support, it happened after Fields grabbed her and started flipping her over backward. Her actions can best be understood as instinctive and aimed at defense or self protection.

I guess I missed it. Sorry.

I don't think I would have done it that way.

I'm guessing it was hard to tell even if you were actually there.

I've been thinking about this thread and it came to me that the principle area of disagreement comes down to how much violence should have been used to discipline a sullen teenager. Whether violence should have been employed at all doesn't seem to be on anyone's radar.
I would invite the people who favor the use of force in situations of this sort to consider what action they would take if they were dealing with similar misbehavior by their own child in their own home. Would you do what Fields did? Would you do any of the other things that have been postulated in this thread?

It is kinda creepy isn't it?
I've always considered Dudes that get off on beating up women to be double plus uncool.

Absolutely. If a kid is sulking, let 'em sulk. See if there's something to talk about later.
If the girl in South Carolina wasn't acting out any more than has come out so far, there was nothing in the way of going on teaching, except the teacher's own case of ass. The escalation is what totally disrupted the class, not the girl.

Actually I did in post 172.

But in a thread with 200 replies already, it was easy to miss.
As a teacher, all I would ask is that the kids turn their phones off and put them away. From what I have seen, this is what she did. I think the teacher made a problem where there wasn't one.
