If he doesn't get it the bill then Boehner and the Baggers just dig themselves deeper into the pit they have dug for themselves: would rather play politics than put the nation first plus the negative impact on the Latino perception of the GOP will help the Democrats in the future.

Obama may not win in this game but the Democrats will certainly not lose.

Really is that the way you see it, not that it surprises me.

He is faced with overloaded courts, and be aware the children do not get court appointed lawyers. This imposes an extra load on the judges who not only must live up to the letter of the law but its spirit as well.

He can hardly clear the backlog let alone the new arrivals without more jurists. By law he has no choice but to provide a hearing to every child. He also must see that they are not only housed but are not molested while in his charge.

I would have to be an extreme skeptic to call the situation playing politics, or simply biased in the extreme.

Not quite, this is what he said;

"If Obama gets what he wants it is a political victory for him as well as easing the humanitarian crisis."

In effect if Obama gets the 3.7 billion then the political fallout will be a victory, he did not say that what Obama was seeking was a political victory.
