Even you have to admit that those twenty somethings are gravy for HIC.

I'm still waiting for an idea, any idea at all, from the conservative hivemind about how to deal with the lack of healthcare coverage for all of us.

Other than instant bankruptcy and destitution while the vultures pick over the bones if someone gets seriously ill.

Too bad I've just run into you whell...I would have joyfully joined in with all your pissing and moaning about cancelled policies and forced changes of physicians when it was at the hands of the insurance companies and employers.

Then again...the cancellations are still at the hand of insurance companies so maybe I should join in right now, eh?

Who's pissing and moaning? What in the world leads you to believe that this is "all in the hands of the insurance companies and employers"?

Obamacare apparently hasn't fixed that either.

We also find evidence that the expansion of Medicaid will INCREASE the cost of healthcare delivery.

I have the plan Bob...it is where the individual is enticed to be responsible by purchasing insurance on the private market and if they do not they face a tax penalty...some kind of Republican Heritage Foundation idea if I recollect ..
it was tried in Massachusetts and seems to be working

But how does someone working for minimum wage buy insurance? Dear God is this country so damn miserable that they will not look after their own people. I have had the misfortune to meet come chaep bastards in my time, but this. . . .

We taxpayers are required to subsidize employers too cheap to pay livable salaries so the workers require food stamps. The same government that tanked the economy gripes and moans about paying unemployment. So what are these people to do, just starve quietly and die? I really hope the housing market climbs as I will sell out and move to a civilized country.

I think if you truly get the minimum wage you should be eligible for subsidies...
minimum wage for one full time job is about 20 grand a year....you have a point if the poor worker is juggling two full time minimum wage jobs....

the ACA is not perfect but if more people are insured that is a good thing.
