They abuse everything from government handouts, to disability, to frivolous lawsuits.

Not to get off topic because that is a whole other can of worms. I'm sure we will be involved in Syria if not headlining. Hopefully it involves only air strikes and keeps our troops off the ground.
Then you are all for having Corporate America bringing all those jobs back home and hiring all the vets. Good that means that I will never see the shame of a homeless vet looking for a helping hand.

God forbid that John and his girl friend Lindsay were in charge. It is truly educational how all the hawks are those without skin in the game. Raise taxes to pay for war? What a novel thought.

I'm sure most vets coming home are actually looking for work, that is the big difference. These folks I'm talking about have no desire to work. It's just easier to them to sit home, do nothing, collect their welfare, keep making more kids, and maybe deliver pizzas, or waitress, for cash so the system doesn't see it.

I'm all for giving welfare for those who actually need it. I'm just so tired of paying for pure laziness. If your military, laid off, student just out of school, and cannot find work absolutely help but that is not always the case. Maybe I was just blind to the abuse until I got to see first hand.

If Obie drew a line in the sand he has to abide by it or our words are meaningless.

World cop, isolationist, etc, a messed up world doesn't help us any. Israel, Russia, China, Turkey, Uganda, if wishes were horses beggars would ride

The US governments words are already meaningless. They have preached freedom, democracy, peace, etc. for ages, while supporting dictatorships, starting wars, helping to suppress the underprivileged, if it saves the American taxpayer a buck, etc again.

These comments always crack me up… Republicans don’t cry about defense spending we vote for and approve. That is what the Dems do.

What wingnuts complain about is….

Kinda says it all...

Yup.

A lesson in not drawing lines.

I do not think a McCain victory in 2008 would have been a disaster unless Sarah would have assumed power....

McCain would have done the stimulus (probably on steroids with Boehner helping him) just like Obama. I do not think he would have done health care.

We would still be in Iraq I guess and Afghanistan.
I think McCain is sort of like Reagan more bluster than bite....I think he would have been less jingoistic in office.

But I am glad Obama won of course!
