Where I see Obamas biggest FUBAR is in hyping it up to be a heroes welcome. When I would expect a C-in-C to well know the story behind a case such as this after five years of playing with it. The public relations part of this little operation was destined for disaster from the start. He had to know this guy is an ass.

So, why would he play it that way?

"Six Men Died trying to bring a Traitor to Justice!" makes a far better headline than "Six Men Die to Bring Home a pseudo-Hero, Who's Really just a Deserting Loser!"

I mean, if you're going to do it, do it right for crying out loud.

I must agree that the groupthink must of been a bit thick at the White House, for them to try to play this the way they did.
