The plan is not dead. The usual back room politics will take place and bribes will be thrown about at a record pace, I'm sure, to ensure this flawed to hell plan, still has a chance.
If it does not succeed its one mans fault and one man only. We know who that is. Obama.
IMO Reid and some other morons screwed it worse by taking out the single payer. It could have brought more support on board.
Lastly the backroom secrecy that's taken place with this since day one has done more harm then good. Involve the people. Make it clearly and easily written and get the people behind you. Don't write it like tax code, that even the IRS does not understand.
