Yes. Given enough corporations and businesses and unions and other organizations. Corporations compete with one another and, as such, counter the power of one another. Big government is dangerous precisely because it holds a monopoly position. The interests of corporations are not monolithic. The history of the federal government from the nascent progressive movement in the late nineteenth century through today is an excercise of power consolidation by the resolute usurpation of state and local authority.
