Hmmm, the Dems have 2 toss ups and 4 leaners. The Reps have 1 toss up and 1 leaner.

Still seems like a long shot.

This source must be sandbagging for the Republicans.

Hagan's race is at best a toss up, more likely a lean for the Repukes.

Landrieu is a toss up IMO.

With the Dems having far more tough seats to defend than the Repukes the Senate is the Repukes to lose in 2014. If they do not not retake it it will be their own damn fault.

Actually contraceptive pills have been prescribed for some medical conditions and not just to avoid pregnancy. Oh I do believe it is a lot more than $10 per month. Try and imagine a drug company letting anything go that cheaply.

So no one is forcing them to take the pillls. But they want to shove teir religion down everyone else's throat. Well as far as I am concerned they know where they can shove it.

Change jobs is a valid option.

Naw. We're all better off when people stay and work, of fight if necessary, to make things better. That's why some keep trying to make it impossible to do. They'd rather you just quit and let them continue to fuck their employees. That's what every tyrant wants; People who just quit and go away, when they tire of his incompetence and/or abuses rather than stand up to him.

Personally, I can't think of anything LESS "American", than just quitting and letting a bastard have his way.

Yes Dave, what is the quotation "For evil to conquer all that it takes is for good men to do nothing."

I'm afraid that a good portion of it has by succumbing to Fox News and Rush Limbaugh brainwashing propaganda.

They did try hoping for change Tom I kinda agree with your assessment RE: it's the Reps to lose, though I still think it's a long shot.

Of course it's theirs to lose.

They've got everything going for them.

2008 was a huge year for the Democrats in the Senate.

They rode the wave of record breaking turnout with the election of Obama and ran the table in the Senate. Every close race went their way and they ended up with 60 Senate seats. Now it's six years later and those same close race seats are up again, but this time it's mid-terms, and Democratic voters are notorious for staying home during mid-terms.

On the other hand you have to give the Devils their due, the knuckle dragging mouth breathing Tea Baggers who believe the earth is only 6,000 years old and that all Democrats are commies hell bent on turning America into a Stalinistic Police State, they will show up at the polls.

So if the Dems can hold on to the Senate, even if it's with just 50 votes plus Biden that will be a huge victory for them and a devastating loss for the Republithugs.
