Looks like T'Rump has woken up something very ugly in America.

Haven't been to many Republican get to gethers? Around these parts one would hear the same old tired $hit! The GOP is the party of hate anymore. He and the constant coverage by the media is giving them more airtime.

The answer isn't a vacuous temper tantrum in a bespoke suit.

Seems to me like Trump perpetuated a lot of the myths regarding Obama being Muslim, not a citizen, etc. Only seems right that this should come back to bite him in the butt.

Trump's test now is with legitimacy...does he show up in Cleveland with a bunch of rabid birthers in tow? The really sad thing is that when he says stuff like this at a legitimate New Hampshire town meeting he and followers are making such racial talk "normal."
People really believe Obama is a Muslim from another country? Because he is African-American? WTF
I hope America wakes up and shuts him down.

He's an obvious hit with the Alex Jones crowd.

Trump is doing a great service to the Democrats, and all you lefties are idiots for looking this gift horse in the mouth.

It's not biting him anywhere yet from what I can see other than making him a champion in the eyes of his bigoted followers. No one in the GOP seems to be capable of calling his bluff; that is all he is trying to do, bluff his way into nomination. The conservative group 'Club for Growth' has started an ad campaign targeting Trump and it remains to be seen if this will have any effect. For now his followers seem to be tone deaf and irrational, which unexpectedly is helping the Dem's. Longer the better since Mr. Obama is doing a great job making the GOP look like a bunch of two year old's.

66% of T'Rump supporters believe the president is a muslim.

He should be the gift that keeps on giving, but the example of Ronald Reagan and Mencken's dictum on the intelligence of the American people are cautionary.
