Does Joe Biden, by coming off as Mr. Nice guy, touting bipartisanship with the Republicans who want no part of it risk giving rise to a "less moderate" more aggressive Democratic presidential candidate in 2024? If he doesn't rally the party and get results on his agenda will someone who pledges to "get things done" come along and drag the party further to the left? In the process scaring off the independents and Repub's who don't want to be a part of the GQP takeover. On the matter of the cult, trying to win over people who've been brainwashed buy the GOP and conned by MAGA Lardo is an exercise in futility. IMO it's best to move on and worry about upsetting the believers of the big lie some other time, while keeping an eye on them of course.
