During debate Wednesday, Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) called the resolution “profoundly stupid,” trivial and a waste of time.

The hysteria effecting the right all over the world at this time should not be put simply as one of ignorance.
Varied and complex are the reasons for their willingness to suspend rational thought. Some simply greed and want of power. Others a feeling of being forgotten and left behind. Not forgetting the rise of extreme religious conservative movements.

My thinking of late is the climate crisis is playing a role in the subconscious along with the effects on environmental agricultural across the planet. Then add the population growth and the migration towards the poles happening.

^^Here is what really bothers me about these imbeciles.

Even though Taake was already a convicted felon, authorities found multiple guns at his Houston residence when arresting him (felons are barred from owning firearms). He also has an active case in Harris County, Texas, where he is currently fighting charges of soliciting a minor online.

A convicted felon who owns guns he is not supposed, partake in an insurrection, yet they consider themselves patriots.
