Trump hammered Ford company last night in Texas.

Ford is about to build a large factory in Mexico.

Trump:If he becomes president he would slap 35% tariff on Fords made in Mexico. This he could do because he could easily withstand the pressure from lobbyists having not taken their dollars.

Practical or not the crowd loved this.

All Trump did was alienate more Latinos; plus to levy a 35 percent tax on cars imported to the USA by American automobile manufacturers with plants overseas would not go through any Republican Congress, and probably not make it past a filibuster no matter who controls the Senate. Trump followers are not smart enough to realize this; they just like a guy who is not afraid to be xenophobic.

The more he works to bring the Republican psyche out of the closet, the better for the rest of us. Sunlight is a pretty good disinfectant.
