The problem may be in your set:

the-10-most-disturbing-home-invasion-movies

'Funny Games' I recommend as offering a helpful deconstruction of it's own genre....

Edit - except my 90 year old neighbor's yard tools getting stolen a few weeks back - I had forgotten about that already.

Another reason I need to be careful - starting to forget stuff.

The thing I hate is these people that get goddamned barking dogs for security.

Then the goddamned dog or dogs bark at everything all the time and drive the neighbors crazy.

I had yayhoos like this on both sides of me back in Florida.

I had to move and a lot of the reason was I was sick of hearing goddamned dogs bark.

I actually got to the point where I was fantasizing about getting a 12 gauge pump and using it to blow their front door lock off and then go in and shoot everyone in the house including the goddamned dogs. Hows that for a home invasion?

Neighbors on the other side used to have a Beagle - noisiest motherf*&ker ever - I thought about kidnapping and dropping it at a shelter in the next county. I complained every day - they finally moved.

People that recently bought the house quiet but stupid - burn leaves on windy days - too lazy to put them in leaf bags. Burning leaf smoke just awesome and my house will prob. burn down.

If it was legal, I could prob. shoot the whole bunch and feel no regret, except for all the paperwork.

I thank the God I don't believe in that I have good neighbors here.

I had a scare this morning though.

When I got up I saw a new sign up in the yard next door. I could only see the back of it. I was afraid it was a for sale sign. When you have a good neighbor the last thing you want is to roll the dice.

But when I walked out towards the street and looked back I could see it was a sign from the local garden club and that they has been awarded "Yard of the month". Relief washed over me like a gentle incoming tide.

I realize now I need at least 2 or 3 acres around me, with some water - beach, creek, river, something - any land around here worth having on the water out of my range these days.

Prob. just flood the back yard and hire a lifeguard.

All you have to do is stay put.

The water is coming to you.

Just hunt a place in the hills. The more hills the more springs and creeks. Here creeks are plentiful so it's not as hard to afford. My neighbor and my property is bound by the center of the branch in a valley. He lives halfway up his hillside, and I live halfway up my hillside across from each other. No houses on either side of us. He's real cool. He and I ride atv's around the road to each other house to bullshit
