Ok, in the absence of you providing any information I researched it myself.
This is the last time I do this for you Pete. I looked at the video and to me it appears to be a case of suicide by cop. He pantomimes drawing a gun from his waistband. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=31772096 The Dude practically wrote a suicide note on his facebook right before the incident.  I feel bad for the kid. He was one of the many that our society has marginalized. He got to the point where he couldn't take it anymore.

I'll take a stab at it Pete. The guy that called it in said it was most likely a fake gun and the dispatcher failed to include that information in the call to the officers who responded. Sounds like another failure typical of the Cleveland PD. At least the DOJ is cracking down them for the systemic failures they've been up to.
It's no wonder you don't trust the police in your area.
