Yea, I find NPR to be pretty much the gold standard.

For the record, I wasn't defending anyone, nor do I think anyone particularly needs my defense.

And as far as other news sites compared to Fox, what I know is that the most of the establishment / main stream media has allowed itself to be corrupted, and most all of the major outlets are screwed up in their own way. And some are far worse than Fox, because they still try to tell their audience that they're "objective".

But I know you folks on the left have a major stiffie for Fox, so you just go right on thinking that Fox is the epicenter of media bias if you wish. You'll be off target, but you won't be too far wrong.
Isn't MSNBC right across the street from Faux in downtown New York?
Speaking of stiffies. I love how on one hand the rightwingnuttery proclaims that MSNBC has the lowest ratings/viewership then goes thermo nuclear ballistic whenever Bill O'Reilly and the rest of those B-grade actors at Fox get pilloried by Rachel Maddow at MSNBC. Yep, y'all have a great big stiffie for a gal who's not the least bit interested in you or your gherkin...

House Votes to End Money for NPR.......................

So you try to kill the most credible news organization (2011).

Yep. They've even turned PBS into a shill for big business. This Old House has 5 - 10 minutes of adverts for Home Despot and GM including product placement. As if any self respecting tradesman would use some of the crap tools that HD sells.

Most media is corporate media, so it advances interests that are profitable.

I am a fan of NPR. (And the Daily Show )

Sorry boys and girls, I'll be posting from any news source. If I feel it's news and worth posting so be it. I post from whom ever is caring a story but a lot of times it's just not MSNBC or WP. Tough shit the fact is the reading you want to do just doesn't carry anything that may harm the golden boy. But you see I don't need to follow your propaganda either.

See, this is why you have earned the reputation that you have here. You have no discernment - no ability to understand nuance or sarcasm. The parenthetical comment - notice that it was in parentheses - was a little joke. Did you ovserve the smiley? It was not an indication that The Daily Show is an actual news source. But you took it as that - either that, or you did understand it and you just took the opportunity to spew forth another troll post.

On the other hand, regular Daily Show viewers are more likely to accurately report current events that those who rely solely on Fox news.

I would think you'd be happy to have someone quote such a biased source, as it's easy to then pick out and discredit the lies and political slant. It seems this never happens, and folks are happy to just kill the messenger, repeatedly, ad nauseum.

An opinion is fine and you share yours quit often in a belittling way towards me. Joke or not what you just spilled out is propaganda in it's self. Any more talking points D-Ray?
