A 50 cal might have stopped the car. Of course the collateral damage would have been way to high.

For the most part They are largely past our control imo.

But the police need to be able to enforce laws. A coupla years ago a young boy (12? 13?) stole a car and managed to pin a cop against a wall, gunning the engine. The cop pulled and fired killing him.

The neighborhood had rallys against him. I find this amazingly stupid.

I agree with your further comments.

But I urge you to drill down to the next layer. Just about anyone with any ability to reason will agree (at least intellectually) that the cop had a right to shoot the kid rather than get squished. So there must be some other explanation for the rallies in the aftermath. What do you suppose one has to think and feel to want to do that? Why would such thoughts and feelings exist?

A friend of mine says the Cleveland cops are the biggest gang in the city.
