It seems that the church is more concerned with limiting womens' access to birth control than rampant pedophilia in its midst.

No one is forcing someone to take the BC or be sterilized to my knowledge. Free will and all that you know.

You would be forcing people to provide and perform services that they and their religion consider to be immoral.
It's not just the grantee, but also the grantor.

You really seem to be having a hard time with this simple issue.

My religious beliefs tell me it is a sin to send young men and women off to a war thhat has nowt to do with protecting our momeland. But I don't get a choice in how they spend my tax money.

So who is having a hard time comprehending?

I guess it's a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils? Or is it that the government didn't force the priests to molest anyone. If they had, then it would be unforgivable? Of the government, that is. Not the priests, because then, they would be victims too............I guess.

It is very simple dj, the catholic church is against birth control because they say it iis interferring with nature and taht is not waht God intended. Well if some man can't get it up maybe that is because God does not want that man's genes passed along, but the catholic church healthcare will pay for ******, Cealis or Lipitor. Just a tad hypocritical, no?

What do you bet that they painted their computer black and keep it in the barn?

We've got Black Hats all over the place, lots of different sects. One bunch are horse and buggy carpenters whose only power tool is a gasoline powered table saw. I was told that they use it to cut rafters, which boggles my mind.

Then we have the steel wheel crowd, the motor vehicles are OK provided you paint them black bunch, and the ones where pretty much anything goes. They all still speak Dutchy.

One bunch, who owned a sawmill, used to have an old black van that they converted to run on wood, had a smokestack sticking out of the back of it. Bet that sumbitch was a joy to ride in during the summer.

Strange bunch, them Black Hats, but they're a pretty good people, although doing business with them is like dealing with a Mexican street vendor.

Did you read the article?

Maybe, but that doesn't give the Libs the right to violate the first amendment.

Well, I can see that the only thing more dangerous than mixing religion and politics is mixing Quaaludes and whiskey.

Well that is just your interpretation, the catholic church "churches" are exempt. The fact that they own some hospitals and charitable organizations (which are only to damn happy to accept taxpayer money) are in no way covered by the "religion" part of the First Amendment any more than I am.
