What I mean is when an election is finalized and we have a president, we need to let him lead. We do not need an opposition speech after the state of the Union for example. That is inane.

As to the media, I think clear labeling should be placed on programing.
News should be news and any editorializing or slanting should not be tolerated.
I have no trouble placing Beck, Hannity, Maddow or Olbermann in jail for passing their hate off as news.
If you want partisan hate from either side fine, but make it clear to the general populous that that is what they are getting.

I think the practice of calling a woman whos ideas you do not agree with, or who you feel is not intelligent a "whore"' , shows a real lack of class. If a female loved one of yours ran for office, would you think it was fair for people who didnt support her to label her a whore.

Mrs. Palin is many things, and I do not support her politics or her agenda, but to use sexually degrading terms for her does not in any way make your arguments sound more appealing or even remotely intelligent.

Thank you! You sir...were raised properly. Some forget they came from a woman and this guy HAS a daughter. Guess he won't raise an eyebow if someone called her a whore... maybe because she missed making a basket on her team. Think about that noonereal!

I am not making an argument against her in that post. I am merely providing
evidence of very strong feeling against her.
My post is void of thought and I am confident it is something I would never have posted in reference to any other politician, even Ms. Clinton.

I don't know how you can say that calling someone a "whore" is in some way NOT making an argument against them. There is nothing wrong with having strong feelings against her, I myself think she is an idiot. There are, however, much more intelligent ways of "providing evidence" of these feelings. Discuss her politics, her speeches (if you can call them that), or her ideas.

As far as "take it for what it is"... I don't engage in double talk... I take people and their words at face value. Calling someone a "whore" is not to be taken lightly, unless, of course, they are one. Your attitude of calling someone names because you do not agree with them harkens back to third grade, when calling someone a "stupid-head" or "dumb-dumb" was a guaranteed argument-ender.

I wonder if you would use that kind of talk in front of your children, if you have any. Further, I wonder if you had a son, would you teach him that it's ok to call a woman a whore, and then tell others to "take it for what it is"
