Nobody knows for sure what any of the answers are as to a reason or purpose beyond reproduction.

Thou there are plenty who will argue they do have the secrets to life's meaning.

Allah is not the Holy Trinity.

The Biblical Canon 'was closed' by the time Muhammad penned the Qur'an.

The Christian Bible states there would be no more prophets until the two prophets in Chapter 11 of the 'Book of revelations'.

Muhammed is not one of those. Muhammad is not mentioned in the Christian Bible.

It's possible that the angel who dictated the Qur'an is a fallen angel, kicked out of heaven by God during Satan's rebellion.

I figured it all out as a teenager. Took a couple of handfulls of mushrooms on Thanksgiving one night. Had a long hitchhike from town and climbed the mile and a half gravel road/hill from the main road up to the house. Got it all figured out. Went and wrote it down before I laid down and tried to sleep. I remember being lost in the stereo lights for a while before that happened. Anyway, I woke up the next morning and ran to grab that paper. The only thing I had written was that I had discovered the meaning of life. Kind of disappointed to say the least.

There does not have to be a purpose. "There is no a priori reason to assume that the truth, once it is discovered, will prove interesting."

It's not unethical for you to present an argument against Christianity.

You have a little pride going on there, thinking you might be able to out argue me.

You can't shake my faith no matter what.

Real pride would be certainty that I could.

Your real pride is certainty that I can't.

I'm actually a pretty reserve guy in person.

I'm not proud that I believe in God.

I get what you mean. You mean 'not puffed-up,' you don't mean 'ashamed.'

Pride is something that many people can take the wrong way. Pride and vanity go hand in hand

Your post is a good way to explain, in a different way, what el cat said about not proud. I like it.

Equally possible it's all delusional wishful thinking.
Still lacking sufficient data to make a determination at this time, but I tend toward a rational explanation rather than a magical universe, leaving room for the unexplainable/ incomprehensible.
