More jobs were added in 2023, when so many described the economy as lousy, than in any year of Trump's presidency, which these same people described as good. Some lies die hard (i.e., that Republican administrations are better for the economy).

216,000 new jobs in December, unemployment holds at 3.7%.

Thank you, President Biden.

Only gonna happen if you get re-elected, Donny! May you rot in prison so that never happens.

The crux is households under debt and householders are drowning...credit cards and phantom debt.

What is this "phantom debt" you speak of?

Buy now pay later is a fools errand if you don't have the money.

Dems have been trying to control this for many years, but Repubes, of course, refuse, as they get campaign money from these BNPL companies, and payday loan shark companies. Repubes despise consumer protection of any kind, preferring to allow businesses to put consumers into bankruptcy, then want to cut support for them when they're drowning.

As an old French aristocrat put it, 'The people are just a sponge to be squeezed.' Then came the Revolution.

'America First' Trump roots for stock market crash in 2024 DailyKOS

"There's just nothing like a candidate who hopes to become America's next commander in chief rooting for calamity to beset the nation in order to seal his victory.

And perhaps the only candidate sociopathic enough to state such a hope out loud is Donald Trump. In a Monday interview on the right-wing outlet Lindell TV, which is owned by My Pillow guy Mike Lindell, Trump predicted an economy that's currently on the move would hit a wall. The only question was when.

"When there's a crash—I hope it’s going to be during this next 12 months because I don’t want to be Herbert Hoover," Trump said, referring to the stock market crash that rocked then-President Hoover's first year in office and ushered in the Great Depression."

Lovely how the leader of the GQP wants the economy to crash sooner rather than later. (rolls eyes)

Vote true blue Democratic this November and every election day going forward.

Meanspirited & sick Repubs would like to see everybody hurting rather than letting a Democrat preside over a decent economy and getting any kudos whatsoever. smh
