This was in response to the problems with the websites. Perhaps I'm not the one with fingers in their ears.

Riiiight. If Oregon (and Maryland, btw) are having problems with their websites? Let's try the Republican'ts plan. Now, what was that plan again? It goes something like 'fuck you Jack, I've got mine', IIRC.

Yeah, I guess I misspoke. The 'pubbies like to stick their fingers a bit farther down the anatomy than their ears.

I've got the source of the data. Stellar source, Harvard Med:

Maybe you've got a legit source for the "bogus" claim. Yeh, sure...like, Newmax, the MSC Newsbusters, or the primary naysayer, the National Center for Policy Analysis...the NCPA, heavily funded by the Koch brothers and the health insurance industry.
-indeed.

Well, Ike, I'll give you credit for rehashing old news that has been debunked as, at best, half true. But half true is better than much of what you post.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-me...year-because-/

What has always cracked me up about this study is that you can also find data that would suggest that medical malpractice are responsible for anywhere between 100,000 and 200,000 deaths annually in the US. The inflated 45000 number is also far less than annual death rates from misdiagnoses or infections / diseases incurred while treating in a hospital. So, I guess that if you had a choice between skipping insurance coverage and receiving care in a hospital, your odds are better being uninsured.

Who fucking cares whether there are more deaths due to malpractice in this discussion? And where's Zeke when you need somebody to identify really ridiculous false equivalencies. Nice...but pathetic try at misdirection.

And for every politifact there's a truthout-that did a reasonable evaluation of the data provided by Harvard. It just depends on what you want to believe. Debunked in somebody's head. I'm gonna have to go with the Harvard people as opposed to the un-Harvard people at politifact.

But what we know about you, whell is that you're the typical self-absorbed American who doesn't give a shit in Rush Limbaugh's hat for anything but your fucking tax bill...while 30 million people can go without decent care. You're a real first rate, second rate guy.
