John Mellencamp sang back up. He was seriously starstruck by Donovan. I think Donovan was responsible for more kids being brought into the world than Old Blue Eyes himself.

No, I missed it. I've got an anti-social streak in me that causes me to turn away from most anything that is highly advertised and millions of other people take to heart. Hell, it took until the late 70s for me to admit to myself that I liked a lot of the Beatles works. American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Hall of Fame shows, World Series, Super Bowl, etc.... I avoid them all like the plague. I probably miss some really good stuff, but it generally becomes available later on DVD or youtube or something. After all the hype is over I can decide if I like it or not.

I somewhat agree. Just because it is popular doesn't mean it is quality. On the other hands there are some things that are big hyped events that I love. The first week of the NCAA basketball tournament is my favorite four days of sports. The World Series planted itself in my heart at age seven. And Revolver was the second album I ever bought. But I can proudly say that I've never seen American Idol or Dancing with the Stars. I never thought Reagan was a big deal either.

That's what DVRs are for JJ. I just fast forward through the dreck and watch what I want. You really can't equate the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame with that faggy Superbowl or worse the World Series of stickball....

You ignorant California beatnik surf bum. Pull your head out of your ass and see the beauty of America's Pastime. I never expect to see that type of blasphemy from you again.

ZZZZZzzZZZzzzzzZZZzzzzzzzzZzzzzzzzzzzzsnort, grunt, whozzat, whazzat?
If'n it ain't the World Cup, who cares? Only sissys wear a crapload of body armor to play football. Sorry about the stickball comment but no I'm not going to get all het up over it. It's slower than golf. Hockey is ok but that's just soccer on ice with sticks.

In Concert~Jimmy Cliff. Sitting in Limbo is spinnin' right now. I would drink me a daiquiri if I could remember how to make one...what is it? ice, coco lopez and pineapple juice I think. Myer's Dark is the only ingredient that I'm sure of.
That I do have..
