According to main stream media; the Ukraine is marching into the Spring offensive with just 25,000 men, and no sign of any new tanks.

If frocked you are wearing the rank but are not yet being paid. Any "judiciary" punishment's, reduction in rank for example, will be enforced at your current paid rank. So in this case the reduction in rank was technically AT1 (E6) down to AT2 (E5) even though ATC (E7) was the rank being worn.

Not necessarily, it could be something as "simple" as a DUI. CO's have a lot of latitude for awarding a reduction in rank. But in general yes, even a frocked Chief reduction in rate would tend to be a serious infraction. Which something like a DUI is and has been for awhile.

About 25 percent of Ukrainians left the country. As the war grinds on only the diehards want to be chewed up.

Note leave the country...not IN the country.

This is an estimate of mine based upon last year Demographics of Ukraine - Wikipedia.

There were people leaving a few years before the Russian invasion - the usual depopulation in post soviet nations when some barriers to migration were removed.

Plus refugees due to the invasion.

Thanks. During hot war with conquest by cruel invader possible, hardly surprising. But there will be a skew in the demographics of those remaining due to prohibition of military age males leaving, although I sure some evade this rule.
