With the Senate now firmly in Dem control, DOJ shouldn't need to wait for the GA runoff to take out the orange trash. Just do it, DOJ!

The governments of six foreign countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, spent more than $700,000 at then-President Donald Trump’s Washington, DC, hotel over the first two years of his presidency, according to newly released accounting documents.

I am not quite sure how this will play out. If AG Garland were to indict Trump, easily on the theft of classified documents, Trump true to form will fight the lawsuit tooth and nail, his first attempt being to delay. For this, he will need to raise a lot of money from his flock to pay his legal bills. This means he cannot declare his candidacy which he believes will give him some elbow room with the JD.

So this puts him in a no win situation, yet best for Dems is if Trump were to engage DeSantis in a political cage fight. Trump will be the weaker opponent in 2024, so how best to get him the GOP nomination while he bloodies up Ron the Satan?

Supreme Court says House January 6 committee can get Kelli Ward’s phone and text records
https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/14/polit...urt/index.html

Quote:
The justices declined Ward’s request to freeze the subpoena and lifted a temporary order earlier put in place Justice Elena Kagan, who supervises the appeals court that ruled in the case.

Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito would have agreed to block the subpoena, the court said.

The move is the latest dispute concerning January 6 to come before the conservative-leaning court. Last January, the high court cleared the way for the release of presidential records from the Trump White House to the committee. Only Thomas publicly noted a vote in favor of Trump.
Uncle Thomas must be VERY worried about his idiot wife's involvement here being made public.

This article makes it sound like trump is going to get a pass for stealing classified documents.

Quote:
Investigators see ego, not money, as Trump’s motive on classified papers

A review by agents and prosecutors found no discernible business interest in the Mar-a-Lago documents, people familiar with the matter said
Not that a strong case cannot be made to convict him or he deserves to get a pass, just seems like there is no will to convict this SOB crook.

It looks to me like the way it's going down is the elite media and money are dumping Trump, but probably in return for him not running again, he gets to stay out of jail.

Does that mean Fox will actually admit to propagating the Big Lie? Will Fox and OANN quietly settle out of court with Dominion and Smartmatic? In the end everything will get swept under the rug and by 2024 election all will be forgotten?

So in the end, the liars and cheaters will be exonerated as trump would say.

Admit to anything? Nope. Not that it would make any difference if they did. "Exoneration?" Effectively, yep.

I see Trump morphing into an Alex Jones figure. Does revenge tours and all sorts of things to keep his followers excited and donating, and feed the media's Trump addiction, but nevermore run for office.

Thanks. I was wondering how he will keep the grift going since that is all that matters to him and here, no pesky little campaign laws to abide by either.
